Seminar 'Transfer pricing in Armenia from 1 January 2018. How to be ready?'

KPMG Transfer Pricing Group has worked out a specialized workshop on the new transfer pricing rules in Armenia.

We will talk about the practice of implementation of TP rules in the CIS countries in the format of case studies. We will show what the documentation on controlled transactions represents and analyze the step-by-step instructions for its preparation. We will refer to the most high-profile disputes with the tax authorities in the CIS countries and focus on the main subject — what do you need to pay attention on now.
 
What does implementation of TP rules mean from the point of view of the tax authorities? Mr N. Mishin, Head of Transfer Pricing Inspection Department of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and representatives of the State Revenue Committee by the RA Government and the Armenian Ministry of Finance will take part in the seminar as invited guests.

What are we going to talk about?

The program of the seminar includes an overview of the most relevant questions put forward by Armenian taxpayers in connection with adoption of the TP rules, in particular:

• ’Life according to TP rules’: what does the implementation of TP rules mean for business? How did this happen in the CIS countries? Why cannot the TP rules be disregarded?
• A brief overview of Armenian TP rules: what do you need to know about transfer pricing in Armenia right now? Fundamental rules. Functional analysis. Methods. Sources. Benchmarking studies. Reports submission deadlines. TP documentation. Penalties.
• ’Ukrainian experience’: recommendations to taxpayers from Mr N. Mishin, Head of Transfer Pricing Inspection Department of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. The most common mistakes of Ukrainian companies.
• How to prepare TP documentation that will protect: step-by-step recommendations, documentation structure, information disclosure, justification of prices/profitability in controlled transactions by the example of three real transactions.
• Minimizing TP risk: what specifically Armenian taxpayers need to do now to be ready when the rules come into force.

The seminar was developed by the specialists of KPMG Armenia in cooperation with transfer pricing working teams of KPMG in Ukraine and Russia, consisting of more than 100 specialists with unique experience in implementing transfer pricing projects for companies in the CIS and Europe.
